Clickstream Purchases Westzone

Brian Smyth, President of Clickstream Interactive Group, wishes to announce that Clickstream has purchased Westzone, a Regina based e-strategy and web development company. 

Westzone’s customer list, e-strategy planning program and programming code will reside with Clickstream. Clickstream will continue to offer net marketing and web design services to existing Westzone customers. 

The www.westzone.com site will be in service and Clickstream will operate this Saskatchewan web portal. 

‘Westzone offers us the opportunity to build dynamic database driven web sites from an open source solution,’ says Smyth. ‘Our companies were working together to land new customers when the opportunity to purchase Westzone came up.’ The opportunity to buy Westzone came about when Bill Rimmer, managing partner at Westzone, received an offer to work in Calgary he couldn’t refuse. 

Bill Rimmer and Brian Smyth met with all of Westzone’s customers in order to provide for an easy transition. 

Smyth adds, ‘We feel that Clickstream really has the chance to offer small and medium size businesses in our province, the possibility to succeed in the new net economy with an open source solution’.
